How we look after personal information collected through this website. Last updated 24 September 2026.
Food Clinic NI is the data controller for this website. You can reach us at 43 Mousetown Road, Coalisland, Co. Tyrone, by email at [email protected] or by phone on 07729482701.
What we collect
If you use the contact form, we store the details you send:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number, if you give one
- Subject and message
We keep that message so we can reply. If you include symptoms or other health details, we use them only to answer you and, if you go on to book, to arrange your care. We do not publish test results or clinical notes on this website.
Booking an appointment takes you to Swift Bookings, a separate service. Appointment, account and payment details are collected there, under their process and the clinic’s booking terms.
Why we use it
- To reply to enquiries and run the clinic
- To keep a record of messages we have answered
- To keep the website secure and working
The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and steps toward a contract when you ask about or book a test. Health information you choose to send is used so we can respond to that request and provide care.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal information. We share it only where we need to:
- Our email provider, so enquiry notifications can reach the clinic
- The company that hosts this website
- Swift Bookings, when you choose to book
- Google, because the contact page shows an embedded map
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry messages are kept for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a sensible record of clinic correspondence, then deleted. Booking and clinical records are kept for the periods that apply to health care, which are separate from this website.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, erase it, restrict how we use it, or object to processing. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. To use any of these rights with us, email [email protected].
